Every session begins with a grounded conversation.
We talk about what brought you here, what you’re hoping for, and the feeling you want your images to hold. This can happen by video or in person.
For some clients, this step is brief and practical.
For others, it becomes a deeper exploration of style, mood, or emotion.
You’ll receive clear guidance on how to choose what to wear, how to prepare, and what to expect so you can arrive feeling supported.

THE PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE
Your session is guided from start to finish.
You don’t need to know how to pose or prepare. I offer clear direction and create space for the session to move naturally.
Some sessions are focused and contained.
Others allow more room to explore, adjust, and go deeper.
The pace is shaped by the experience you choose, but the approach stays the same: attentive, present, and responsive.
Throughout the session, the focus remains on creating images that feel honest, grounded, and true to you.

VIEWING & SELECTION
After your session, your images are prepared and reviewed.
For full portrait experiences, we meet for a guided viewing where you’ll see a curated body of work and choose the images that feel most true to you.
This process is unhurried and supportive, allowing space for reflection so each decision feels aligned.
Digital collections form the foundation of these experiences, with optional additions available if you wish to create something more tangible.
Some clients arrive knowing they want a fully planned portrait experience.
Others are looking for something simpler.

The Full Experience is a step beyond Portrait Refresh, created for clients ready to invest more time and intention into their portraits.
Each portrait experience begins with a $450 retainer, fully applied toward your chosen session. This reserves your place on the studio calendar and includes a creative design consultation and a guided studio portrait session.
SIGNATURE SESSION
Up to a 2 hour studio session, with a creative design consultation and (12) finished digital portraits.
This experience with space to explore expression, movement, and variation. The session gives you time to settle and let the images unfold.
The Signature session stands on its own as a complete portrait experience, offering depth without excess.
EDITORIAL SESSION
Extended session, with a creative design consultation and a fully curated digital collection.
Editorial sessions are immersive by nature. Guided by presence, intuition, and creative flow. This experience allows space to explore multiple moods, layers, and ways of being seen.
Editorial sessions invite a deeper level of collaboration and offer the time needed for a fuller body of work to take shape.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR SESSION
When you are ready, begin by completing the booking request form. It helps me understand what you’re envisioning and ensures that your session is designed with care from the start. Afterwards, you will receive an email to secure your session with the retainer. Once your retainer is paid, I will reach out personally with a welcome message and the next steps, and you'll be invited to schedule our creative planning session. This conversation is where I learn more about you and what you need from your session. We talk through your ideas, the feeling you want your images to hold, and the details that support your vision. Together we choose a date that works, and you’ll know exactly what to expect long before we begin.

HOW FAR OUT SHOULD I BOOK MY SHOOT?
I recommend reaching out as early as you can, especially if you’re planning a Signature or Editorial session. Most clients book 3–6 weeks ahead. Let me know your preferred dates and I’ll do my best.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT TO INVEST?
Your investment depends on the session you choose and how you’d like to keep your images. Each booking begins with a $450 non-refundable session retainer, which is applied toward your chosen digital collection. Full pricing is outlined on this page, and we’ll review any additional options during your creative planning call.
CAN YOU HELP ME WITH WHAT TO WEAR?
Yes. Every session includes simple, supportive wardrobe guidance. We’ll talk about colors, textures, and pieces that reflect how you want to be seen. Whether the look is professional, minimal, expressive, or soft. The goal is to remove stress and help you feel comfortable, grounded, and confident.
CAN MY SESSION TAKE PLACE AT MY LOCATION?
Yes, when it supports the style or story you want to create. Signature Sessions can be photographed in your home or office for an additional location fee, and Editorial Sessions can move between studio and nature or a meaningful space. Travel and location details are discussed during your planning call so you’ll know exactly what to expect.
WHEN CAN I BOOK MY SESSION?
Portrait sessions are scheduled by appointment, Monday through Friday. We’ll confirm your session date and time during your planning conversation.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
Yes. You’re welcome to pay in full or use a pre-session payment plan. All balances are due before your session date.
DO I NEED PROFESSIONAL HAIR AND MAKEUP?
You’re welcome to do whatever makes you feel most yourself. That can be natural, polished, or somewhere in between. You can do your own styling or hire a professional. We’ll talk about what feels right for you during your planning session.
CAN YOU PHOTOGRAPH MY SESSION OUTDOORS OR IN A RENTED SPACE?
Absolutely. Your session can take place wherever your story feels most true. That might be your home, a meaningful location, a rented studio, or a space in nature. Travel or location fees may apply depending on where we go. Everything will be discussed beforehand.
